This post is available immediately for a period of 3 years. The aim of this partnership, which builds upon the successful relationship that exists between the University of Exeter and QinetiQ, is to develop advanced materials that can be used to control and manipulate the propagation of electromagnetic and acoustic energy, in a highly tailored, bespoke fashion, and develop innovative techniques for their cost-effective manufacture.

The post will focus on two aspects: The research will include aspects of optical set-up design, development and implementation of read-out electronics, control programming and software design, as well material characterisation and measurement.

You will be appointed at Postdoctoral Research Fellow Grade F depending on the skills and experience the individual can bring to the role.
